The God I Wish You Knew

And suddenly there was with the angel a multitude of the heavenly host praising God and saying,

“Glory to God in the highest, and on earth peace among those with whom he is pleased!” — Luke 2:13-14 (ESV)

God came to earth at Christmas time.  So what?  For so many of us, God doesn’t really make a difference in our lives.  He’s just a distant impersonal being — only existing in a random prayer.  Or He’s just harsh and judgment — only around to remind us of our failures.  Or God is an old fashioned concept — the stuff of archaic religions and thought systems. For many, we just don’t believe God is there when we really need Him.

What if all of these concepts of God are wrong?   Why do millions of people see Jesus as the reason to live? What if a relationship with God is the key to unspeakable joy and peace?  This Christmas season, Harvest invites you to come and seek the God I Wish You Knew.  The God who brought peace and joy to our world at Christmas time.
