On Mission 2019

 

October 2019 is Harvest Missions Month.  We will take a month to look at how we are called to be on mission and change our world in everyday practical ways.  Missions months will include a variety of special events and Sunday activities designed to showcase how Harvest is impacting our world for Jesus and to connect you with our local, regional and international missions partners.

 We will end our month by receiving our annual Advance the Kingdom Offering.  This year we are believing God for $85,000 to complete a variety of projects around the globe.

 Missions Month will Include:

 

October 6   On Mission — Muwendo Children’s Choir 

God in Africa Evening, 7-8:30pm, Saturday, October 12th.  Come hear about the amazing things that are happening in Africa from our ministry partners Tanneken Fros of TCF Mercy in Mozambique and Ron and Carolyn Klaus of Hope in View working in Ethiopia.  Coffee and desserts will be served.

 October 13 On Mission — Living On Mission, Lead Pastor Jeremy Gwaltney

 

October 20 On Mission — Changing Your World, J. Gwaltney 

 

Moments In Missions Meal, 12:15pm, Sunday, October 20th:  Come hear about amazing things happening in the Americas with Globe International and Harvest missionaries Ken and Becky Holderman and Bob Tidd working in Central America as well as Pastor Reggie Stutzman with Real Life Church and the Prodigal Center working in Hunts Point, Bronx, NY.  A light lunch will be provided.

 

Fall Fest, Friday, October 25th from 6:00-8:00pm: Join us for an evening of fun and serving our community at our annual Fall Fest.  It is a great evening of food, fun, games, hay rides, and, of course, our helicopter candy drop.  It is great for kids ages 2-5th grade.
