Yes, Jesus Said…
Today is seems like everyone is clamoring to get Jesus to endorse their point of view. From religious leaders to politicians, everyone claims “Jesus said…”. However, we have four large writings that record Jesus’ actual words. Perhaps, we should spend some time examining what He actually said, instead of claiming what He said.
Beginning on February 21st, Harvest will take a seven-week journey through seven key statements of Jesus that impacts our everyday lives.
February 21 — “I am the good Shepherd…” — Jesus as Life
February 28 — “Love your neighbor…” — Jesus and Social Norms
March 7th — “The two shall become one flesh…” — Jesus and Marriage
March 14th — “Store up for yourselves treasures in Heaven…” — Jesus and Money
March 21st — “Depart from me…” — Jesus and Hell
March 28th — “I am the Way…” — Jesus and Exclusivity
April 4th — “I am the resurrection and the life…” — Easter Sunday
