How to Participate

 

There are three simple ways to participate in the contests each Sunday:

#1 — If you have received a Jesus’ March To Madness Ticket, fill your ticket out and bring it with you on any of the first four Sunday’s in March and your name will be entered into the drawing to participate in the contests.

 #2 — If you would like a ticket mailed to you, please click here to FILL OUT THE INFORMATION and we will mail you a ticket.  Then fill your ticket out and bring it with you on any of the first four Sundays in March and your name will be entered into the drawing to participate in the contests.

#3 — Simply show up on any Sunday morning in March.  We have tickets in our lobby available for you to fill out and you can enter then.  We advise that you arrive 15 minutes early to allow enough time to get and fill out your tickets prior to the closing of the drawing entries.

 Ticket registrations close 5 minutes after the service begins.

*You must be present to win.  Ticket participation is for one service only, participants must enter new tickets prior to each service to have a chance to win at that particular service.  Certain restrictions apply.

Games and Competitions

The TIME OUT Free Throw Contest

 Selection

  • Four tickets with participant names will be randomly drawn at each service

  • Each participant shoots a free throw

  • Makes it, stays in game

  • Misses it, waits to see who all misses

  • Goes until only two participants remain

  • All contestants receive a participation prize

Competition

  • Final two participants:

  • Each participant gets 30 seconds to hit as many free throws as they can

  • The participant with the most made free throws wins

  • Timeouts:

  • Each participant gets one timeout to use

  • They can use it when they are shooting, or the can us it when their opponent is shooting

  • In the case of a tie, each contestant will shoot until one contestants makes one more free throw than their opponent

Prize:

  • Four tickets to see the Indiana Pacers play in Indianapolis, IN.

  • A one night stay in a hotel room for four people

P.I.G. With Pastor Jeremy

Selection

  • Three tickets with participant names will be randomly drawn at each service

  • Each participant shoots a free throw

  • Makes it, stays in game

  • Misses it, waits to see who all misses

  • Goes until only one participant remain

  • All contestants receive a participation prize

 

Competition

  • Final participant plays pastor Jeremy in a game of P.I.G.

 

Prize:

  • Winner receives a prize pack to Big C’s BBQ (worth $150)

  • Beat Pastor Jeremy, get a $50 gift card to Amazon


The Long Shot

 

Selection

  • Three tickets with participant names will be randomly drawn at each service

 

Competition & Prizes

  • Contestants will get an opportunity to hit a layup, free throw, three point shot, and half court shot in less than 30 seconds.

  • If done successfully, winner receives $10,000

  • First successful challenge completion is the WINNER, only ONE winner allowed.

  • All participants receive a participation prize.

  • If the winner takes place in the first service, three participants will be drawn in the second service and allowed to take ONE half-court shot to receive $1,000.  Only ONE winner allowed.

Knock Out

Selection

  • Six tickets with participant names will be randomly drawn at each service

  • All contestants get a prize

 

Competition

  • Six contestants will play knock out

  • Shoot from free throw line, if the contestants ball goes in before the the contestant behind him/her makes a shot they can stay in the game.  If the contestant behind him/her makes the shot first, the first contestant is “knocked out”

  • Final contestant is the winner

Prize:

  • A prize pack that includes a basketball goal, three basketballs, and additional prizes worth about $250
